RA statement
Following the game at Bournemouth last week referee Anthony Taylor has been subject to abuse and threats. Football needs to come together to support Anthony and isolate the individuals and groups responsible for these actions. The Referees' Association further calls on the BBC to investigate the irresponsible comments made by Mark Chapman and his guests on Monday night. These comments will have given fresh impetus to those making these threats and broadcasters have a responsibility to act in the public interest and not inflame the situation.

Our Partnerships

Partnerships are often formed between individuals, agencies or organisations with a shared interest to address specific issues. Our evidence reveals that our members young and old often require mental, emotional, financial, medical help, support and guidance. The Referees’ Association champion the work of those agencies that provide this support in times of need. Should you require support please contact the relevant agency below or the RA Head Office.
