Referee helps save players life
My name is Jordan Grimes, I’m 19 years old and I live in South Devon, Torquay

I am running the London Marathon 2020 (Sunday 26th April) in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. This charity provides services and support for young people in the UK, and their families, living with cancer and the effects of this horrible disease. I have chosen to represent this charity in memory of my late friend who sadly lost her lengthy battle with cancer in December 2014 at the age of 13. My target is to raise £2000 before marathon day, you can sponsor me via my London Marathon just giving page. At the age of 14, I took my course to become a football referee in the July of 2015. Over the years I’ve gone on to officiate on over 6 different leagues and 100s of matches. Late last year I earned my second promotion to Level 5 Senior County Referee. I’ve referee on countless cup finals and semi-finals. Even earned a position on the FA Core last season and County FA Core this season. I’ve been a member of my local RA (South Devon) since the start of the 2017/18 season.

Our Partnerships

Partnerships are often formed between individuals, agencies or organisations with a shared interest to address specific issues. Our evidence reveals that our members young and old often require mental, emotional, financial, medical help, support and guidance. The Referees’ Association champion the work of those agencies that provide this support in times of need. Should you require support please contact the relevant agency below or the RA Head Office.
