North Berks Branch of The Referees' Association welcomes referees and observers who reside/work in the area that was once known as North Berkshire, prior to the county boundary changes in 1974.  The area now encompasses the local authorities of Vale of White Horse, parts of West Berkshire and parts of South Oxfordshire.  However, we do welcome people from further afield as well.

We are a small, but very friendly and supportive group that has members from all levels.  We have members who are operating at the highest levels in both men’s and women’s football, as well as many people with lots of years’ experience in grass roots football.  So support is available to anyone, whatever level you are currently.  Meetings are varied and informal with the focus on enjoyment and education.

Meeting information

Meetings are held at South Courtenay FC on the third Monday evening in the months of September - May (excluding December, when we normally have an Christmas meal). Come along and join us.

Join the Referees Association

The National RA recommends that prospective members should join through their local LRA, the easiest way being to attend one of the many local association meetings that take place across the country on a regular (usually monthly) basis. Find your nearest branch now.

Alternatively, online membership is now available for any referee who wishes to take up central membership. The National RA will then allocate you a local branch. Join now.
