If you're a match official outside of England, we can offer you an international membership of The Referees' Association.

The membership year runs from the 1st of June to the 31st of May.

As part of your membership you will have access to:

  • Online Development Sessions - during the membership year we offer a minimum of 10 online training sessions. These are delivered by high profile guest speakers on a range of topics, providing opportunities to learn and develop your skills
  • Training Resources - if you miss an online training session, you can access the recording at a time convenient to you. There are also numerous previous recorded sessions available to view at your leisure, all designed to enhance your refereeing knowledge and skills
  • Online Discussion Forum - connect with other match officials, ask questions and seek advice using our discussion forum

You can access all of these high quality training sessions and resources for just £30 GBP per season.

Our Partnerships

Partnerships are often formed between individuals, agencies or organisations with a shared interest to address specific issues. Our evidence reveals that our members young and old often require mental, emotional, financial, medical help, support and guidance. The Referees’ Association champion the work of those agencies that provide this support in times of need. Should you require support please contact the relevant agency below or the RA Head Office.

Join the Referees Association

The National RA recommends that prospective members should join through their local LRA, the easiest way being to attend one of the many local association meetings that take place across the country on a regular (usually monthly) basis. Find your nearest branch now.

Alternatively, online membership is now available for any referee who wishes to take up central membership. The National RA will then allocate you a local branch. Join now.
