The AFA Referees Society was formed in 1966 to cater for the needs of all referees officiating in AFA football. It later merged with LONSAR to form the largest Referees Society in Southern England. We hold regular meetings during the football season which concentrate on all aspects of developing refereeing of all ages and genre. We are proud to be a multination, multicultural, diverse and inclusive community.
Together with Training days, we also hold a number of social events to enhance and encourage camaraderie and build good team spirit. Elected Officers act on behalf of the society and work well with both the AFA and London FA in strategically looking forward at the needs and aspirations of our members

Join the Referees Association

The National RA recommends that prospective members should join through their local LRA, the easiest way being to attend one of the many local association meetings that take place across the country on a regular (usually monthly) basis. Find your nearest branch now.

Alternatively, online membership is now available for any referee who wishes to take up central membership. The National RA will then allocate you a local branch. Join now.
