The ARA branch is a mix of referees of various ages from 16 to 70 plus with a great deal of experience of various levels.
Refereeing is debated and discussed, local and national league issues, in-service training, and development happens.
Being an RA member has many benefits and give opportunities to develop further as a referee with the added benefit that referees are insured.
Social events happen, annual golf and football matches and more. We interact with other local RA's, quiz nights, shared training etc.
The Northumberland RA annual dinner with regular "Premiership referee" guest speakers held at a top North East venue close to major road links for easy access. We have a close link with our county RA representatives and have a wealth of knowledge and experience close to hand.

Join the Referees Association

The National RA recommends that prospective members should join through their local LRA, the easiest way being to attend one of the many local association meetings that take place across the country on a regular (usually monthly) basis. Find your nearest branch now.

Alternatively, online membership is now available for any referee who wishes to take up central membership. The National RA will then allocate you a local branch. Join now.
