Horsham Referees is an organised group of people involved with Refereeing Association Football matches at all levels. It is run by Referees - for the benefit of Referees - and acts as a local focal point for those involved in refereeing, both currently active and retired.
Our membership, both male and female, ranges from young referees involved predominantly in youth football, to more experienced officials currently operating on Senior adult leagues (male and female), and to ‘retired’ referees, who continue to make their experience count by officiating as Assessors or Observers at youth, local or senior level. Everyone in the football community, whether players, administrators, supporters or Referees, all have the same objective – that is, to participate in and maximize their enjoyment from the game which we all love. Referees are a vital part of this community and it would be fair to say that we referee because we enjoy it. All Referees are ‘professional’ in that we receive a fee for our services and it is only right, therefore, that we strive to show a professional attitude. Our local branch helps us to maintain this professional approach.
Meetings on the second Monday of the month starting at 7:30PM
