Formed over 100 years ago, Southend Referees’ Society membership has dwindled over the years; from almost 200 – 20 years ago – to 11 last season – plus 40 newly qualified refs who have accepted their FREE season of RA & SRS membership – but many of whom are teenagers and have been unable to join any of our meetings so far.
 On the plus side, we have recently been approached by two new referees requesting membership.
 We endeavour to: assist new members when contacted; arrange guest speakers for alternate monthly meetings and provide resources to facilitate group discussion at others – including use of Zoom and Teams, for on-line presentations.
