We are pleased to announce that this year's RA Development Weekend, will be taking place over the weekend of Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd July at Jury's Inn, Hinckley Island, Watling Street, Hinckley, LE10 3JA.

'Back to Basics' is the theme for the 2022 Referee Development Weekend from The Referees' Association.

Join us for a host of training sessions and development workshops, where we will be looking at a range of key topics aimed at improving your refereeing toolkit. There are many highlights, including a number of practical outdoor sessions on Saturday, interactive indoor workshops on Sunday, along with a Referee Awards Dinner. We will have a great range of high profile guest speakers, recognition awards and much more. There is something for everyone as in 2022 we learn to live with the COVID-19 pandemic.

After some of us refereeing sporadically over the past two years due to COVID, this year’s events focuses on some of the basics we may have forgotten and need to sharpen up on ahead of the new season

We see this Development Weekend as an opportunity to meet up with colleagues as we continue to grow - so we look forward to seeing you at this event.

Our Partnerships

Partnerships are often formed between individuals, agencies or organisations with a shared interest to address specific issues. Our evidence reveals that our members young and old often require mental, emotional, financial, medical help, support and guidance. The Referees’ Association champion the work of those agencies that provide this support in times of need. Should you require support please contact the relevant agency below or the RA Head Office.
